What is Crocodile Encounter?  Crocodile Encounter is a fully licensed and insured USDA zoological facility whose primary focus is science and wildlife education. A visit to Houston's only reptile zoo enables each visitor to experience wildlife in a safe, exciting, and educational fashion. You will see crocodiles and alligators swimming and sunning before we bring the animals directly to you for a feeding demonstration. Crocodile Encounter has the largest group of crocodiles on display in the state of Texas. We are the premier crocodilian facility in the state.The animal ambassadors that live at our location are some of the most storied, legendary, and feared animals on the planet.  It is our goal to further educate the public on these vital animals and the impact they have on the human world.  In addition to crocodiles many other species call Crocodile Encounter home. Our facility is  home to numerous species of snakes, lizards, and turtles. Crocodile Encounter is a fully insured licensed zoological facility and is USDA certified. In addition the facility is owned and operated by professional educators that know what is needed for each educational venue. For every event our priorities are an excellent safe presentation for both our audience and our animals.

Crocodile Encounter is the  only live reptile show in the state of Texas that gives you the option of having your event at your location or bringing your group to see the big crocs at our location.
