Crocodile Safari animal camp
"In the end we will conserve only what
we love, and we will love only what we understand."

camp 2010!
About our camp program: Crocodile Safari summer camp is an animal nut's dream! Our entire week long camp program is designed
to ensure the maximum experience for the animal lover while safe and secure as they observe some of nature's most
incredible animals. Participants will get hands on approach to learning
about all kinds of animals, and therefore developing a greater understanding of the species and creating a life long link
with the love of nature and animals of all kinds. We take pride in being as interactive as possible with as many diffrent
species of animals as possible during each and every camp week! We try to balance out every week so we are learning about
all kinds of animals, not just reptiles. We also study mammalls, birds, insects, arachnids, fish, and more! Every week is
something different!
During the camp days spent at Crocodile Encounter children will have the opportunity
to learn along side the trained professionals of one of the nations largest outdoor crocodilian facilities. Participants
can expect to develop the skills and expertise to care for all of the animals at the facility including various snakes,
many turtles and giant tortoises, various lizards, arachnids, amphibians and ,of course, our incredible crocodilians.
Campers will receive an excellent science education focusing on the animals habitat, behaviour, and general biology.
Additional field trip days are built into the camp schedule to allow the campers
to experience other forms of wildlife as well. We will get an up close look at native animals during a trip to Brazos Bend
State park, see amazing mammals at the Bayou wildlife park, and have guest speakers give the campers the low down on our high
flying friends the birds! This
summer camp program will allow your children to escape the concrete jungle and video games that surround them and
overwhelm them with the natural world. They will study hundreds of species, and learn information unavailable in books.
This will definitely create a greater passion for wildlife in the life of your child. It is a life changing event that we
hope spurs many into a lifetime of passion for the outside world. | | Help us educate
the youth of our area, one step at a time! It starts with knowledge, and knowledge starts at the Crocodile Safari Summer
